Bespoke Home-Based Learning Support

Melanie Structured, therapeutic, academically supervised home-schooling for children who need more than a standard classroom can offer.

I am an Occupational Therapist offering a small, highly supported home-schooling environment for a very limited number of children, in Buccleuch, Sandton.

This service is designed for children who may struggle in conventional school settings, including children with ADHD, ASD, OCD-type rigidity, oppositional behaviours, anxiety, poor executive functioning, low frustration tolerance, screen-dependence, or inconsistent work habits.

The approach combines structured academic teaching using a digital platform, occupational therapy-informed routines, reduced screen dependence, supervised homework, life-skills development, social interaction, and balanced cognitive, physical, creative and social activities.

This is not mass tutoring. It is a carefully managed micro-learning environment for a maximum of three children. Children receive individual attention, predictable routines, and practical support to complete work properly rather than merely get through the school day.

My work is aimed at helping children move from avoidance, dysregulation and screen-based escape into routine, productivity, confidence and measurable academic progress.

Children’s work quality and academic progress are independently reviewed by a PhD scholar with a Higher Diploma in Education and SACE registration.

This offering is intentionally small. Please contact us using the contact details page as a matter of priority if you wish to have your child considered.

We currently welcome a small group (3-4) of Grade 3-4 learners who use (or are willing to use) the Impaq online forum. This focused approach helps us maintain quality and consistency whilst giving each child the attention they deserve.
